Toni Frostick
B.A. Art History, M.A. Arts Policy and Management
Working Class Artist and Academic
Toni Frostick is a working-class, self-taught artist based at Parndon Mill, working in dry mediums like soft pastel and charcoal. Her practice celebrates overlooked urban spaces, and the raw beauty found in everyday life, often drawing from her East London upbringing to highlight working-class culture and identity.
Toni’s distinctive style has earned her national recognition, her work Wheels of the Roving Café, capturing a scene from Shoreditch’s Nomadic Gardens, won the Unison Young Artist Award at the Mall Galleries. Another work, Waiting, was selected for the Mall Galleries’ Winners: Award Winning Artists exhibition. She was also a reserve artist for Sky Arts Landscape Artist of the Year.
After a brief hiatus where she completed her BA and MA in Arts Policy and Management, Toni is now returning to her art practice with fresh energy and focus. She is looking forward to reconnecting with her creative roots and continuing to develop work that speaks from and to working-class experience. Toni is committed to making art accessible and honest - no fluff, no gatekeeping, just real stories, rooted in real life.
