Drawing Dance Workshops

The Drawing Dance workshops will be led by artists Jessica Pearce and Deborah Ward.

Dancers will offer moving sketches to music allowing you an opportunity to capture their movement on the page.

A selection of paper will be provided but please bring your own drawing tools.

Jessica Pearce is a multi media artist and art tutor. Her art work explores archetypal and folkloric narratives. Her participatory art project Legendary Essex co-created an archive of art and folklore with residents of all ages.

Deborah Ward is a dance artist and choreographer. Her work explores the genre of contemporary ballet and folk dance from across the British Isles. Her company Ballet Folk has performed internationally and works with multi-faceted performers to create story ballets that are accessible for all.
