Farah Corrigan

Informed by post-structuralist ideas and a compulsion to find order in the everyday, Farah Corrigan’s work visualises the interaction between various systems – social/psycho-geographical/political. With an interest in contrasting temporality, Corrigan employs a range of processes to create complex grounds. Ancient techniques such as natural dyeing and waxing are found at odds with painted realism and image transfer, creating or mimicking a self-contradictory, complex, post-internet space. Working in an almost modular way, Corrigan’s ‘paintings’ are built to be seen as provisional, ready to be diss and re-assembled.

Farah Corrigan (b. 2003, UK) lives and works in Essex. She received her BA from Camberwell College of Arts - UAL (2025). Selected group shows include: OHSH projects, London, UK (2025), Pusher, London, UK (2025).
